Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StartupOSS ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws of India. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StartupOSS (operated by [Company Name], CIN: [CIN]).
2. Description of Service
StartupOSS provides Indian startup founders with compliance checklists, government grant information, legal document templates, incubator directories, and expert doubt-clearing services. The Platform is an informational and organisational tool — it does not constitute legal, financial, or chartered accountancy advice. Always consult a qualified CA or legal professional before making compliance decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law. The Platform is intended for use by founders, directors, and authorised representatives of companies incorporated in India.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information at registration
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Not share your login credentials with third parties
- Use only one account per company
5. Subscription and Payments
StartupOSS offers Free, Starter (₹499/month or ₹4,499/year), and Pro (₹1,499/month or ₹13,499/year) plans. All prices are inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Payments are processed via Razorpay and governed by Razorpay's terms
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You will receive a GST-compliant invoice for all paid transactions
- Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period

7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including grant data, compliance checklists, legal templates, and software — is owned by StartupOSS or its licensors. You may use downloaded templates for your own business purposes only. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute Platform content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, StartupOSS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
